In Burgundy region, Axe Immobilier realises a respite care home for the French Red Cross
Three years after the delivery of SSR Marguerite Boucicaut (follow-up care and rehabilitation centre) in Chalon-sur-Saône, Axe Immobilier and the French Red Cross are continuing their partnership in Burgundy region, now in the city of Couches (Saône et Loire department).
The project consists in converting the physical and rehabilitation medicine centre into a respite care centre (for disabled and caregivers living together) of 6,117 sqm of floor area comprising :
- a temporary nursing home
- a temporary medical-care home for adults with a disability
- a social tourism home to allow to a caregiver to be assisted by several carers
Designed by the architect Philippe GAZEAU, the centre, for which the delivery is planned for the first quarter of 2024, will be based of 78 bedrooms:
- 48 bedrooms of 25 sq m allowing to host the pair caregiver / the one being cared for
- 6 bedrooms of 21 sq m, equipped with fixed equipment and adapted to the disabled people
- 6 secured units of 25 sq m, mainly focused on hosting people with Alzheimer's
In this project, Axe Immobilier is the delegated manager through its subsidiary Axe Immobilier Management.
