Environmental responsibility

Environmental responsibility is not a posture at Axe Immobilier — it is the direct result of the way we have always worked. Four concrete commitments, measured for over fifteen years.

1. Responsible construction sites At least 75% of stripping or demolition waste is recycled and recovered, with a complete traceability tracking process. Water consumption, electricity use and carbon impact are monitored on every operation. On the most sensitive Parisian construction sites, a permanent system of acoustic sensors operated by an independent expert enables real-time corrective action.

2. Low-carbon operations Demolishing and rebuilding a building consumes as much carbon as 18 years of its operation. Since the 1990s, we have prioritised the transformation of existing buildings — including the conversion of offices into housing, as early as 1995 — to drastically reduce the carbon footprint of our operations.

3. Nature in the city Green roofs, increased ground-level planted areas, rainwater harvesting: every operation integrates biodiversity rather than displacing it. Axe Immobilier was a pioneer in the use of hemp-flax insulation for roofing as early as 2016.

4. Occupant health Indoor pollution is more harmful than outdoor pollution — which is why every operation includes an air quality plan: adapted ventilation systems, low-VOC materials (Class A+ in the majority of cases), air quality monitoring throughout construction and testing before handover.
